It’s more than directing moves and curating playlists. It’s taking riders on a journey of empowerment, that grows their mind, body and soul, using the beat of the music. We have two options to join academy in Q1 2025:
1. VICIOUS ACADEMY SYDNEY 21 DAY FULL TIME LVL 1 RHYTHM RIDER LEADER CERTIFICATION FEBRUARY 15 – MARCH 8.
FEBRUARY 15 will be a meet and greet Master Class followed by Monday to Friday from Feb 17 8.30am-4.30pm in studio face to face scheduled time. There will an additional 32 hours over the course timeline for practice required.
2. VICIOUS ACADEMY SYDNEY 11 WEEKS PART TIME LVL 1 RHYTHM RIDER LEADER CERTIFICATION FEBRUARY 15 – MAY 10.
FEBRUARY 15 will be a meet and greet Master Class. There will be 100 hours face to face in the studio over 11 weeks. Friday evenings 6.30pm -10.30pm & 1 x weekend day 12pm-5pm. There will be 68 hours held online via zoom or pre-recorded workshops and an additional 32 hours over the course timeline for practice required.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As life becomes busier and the demands placed on us gets bigger, more and more exercise is becoming a tool for escape. For many, a spin class (or any fitness session) can represent a form of escape from everyday life. For many, it could be the only 45minutes in one’s day where there is no phone, email, etc.
This course is designed to help you create these life-changing experiences for your riders. You will learn to be a leader dedicated to the people in class and share the ethics of:
- Bike Set Up
- Music Mapping
- Choreography & Sequencing – how to build your RIDE
- Motivational speaking
- Making a positive change one step at a time – the power of empowerment
- Exercise is not just for the body – mastering your mindset
- Business Development – how to build your class numbers
- Marketing – social media management & content creation
INVESTMENT
FULL PRICE $3000
$1000 deposit to secure your spot. Payment plan available for the balance of $2000. Payments of $500 due Jan 15 Feb 15 March 15 and April 15.

INCLUSIONS
Your course package will include the following:
- 168 hours of theory and practical workshops and presentations
- Course manual
- Certification recognized by AusActive on successful completion of milestones and presentations
- Unlimited practical time in the VC studio outside class times and academy scheduled hours (approx 32 hours)
- Ability to join any class on the VC RIDE schedule that has a spare spot.
- A chance to audition to become a VC instructor.
frequently Asked Questions
Yes we do! There is an option to pay for the course over 4 months once the deposit is paid.
Yes! You will be allocated a membership that will allow you to book VC RIDE classses throughout the duration of the academy. There will be terms attached to the booking conditions which include booking on arrival only so we know there are spare bikes available in the class.
Whether you have the intention of teaching or just broadening your knowledge of indoor cycling, we accept people genuinely interested in indoor cycling and in positive change of mind, body and soul. Ideally, we’d like participants to be at a level where they can ride consistently on a jog min pace of 100bpm and out the saddle sprints min pace 130bpm for at least 30sec.
Confirmation of enrollment will only be provided upon payment of the course deposit. Your spot will be held until the second installment payment date on Feb 15. You will not be able to complete presentations or receive your certification unless the final payment is paid on March 15.
Attendees can apply for a refund for this course within 10 working days of notice in writing via email to Vicious Cycle up to 2 weeks prior to the start date of the course.
All cancellations or refund requests must be received in writing. Cancellation under 2 weeks to start date will forfeit deposits paid if a replacement cannot be found.
Any attendee no-showing or not attending a booked date with no prior notice to the start date will not be eligible for any refund. Late cancellations (within 2 weeks of course date) due to illness or other issues will be considered on a case by case basis. Late cancellation fees will apply for refunds or re-bookings.
